The 4-star Holiday Inn Chiangmai is a haven of comfort and style, located on the banks of the Mae Ping River, with easy access to the business district, airport and golf courses. The hotel has expansive riverside and mountain views from the guestrooms, offering a wealth of dining options, with indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the tranquil river, and a number of leisure facilities including an outdoor pool, fitness centre, sauna and beauty salon.

The Peter Thompson-designed Royal Chiang Mai Golf Course is a short 6969-yard course, but with 94 well-placed bunkers, bumpy fairways and closely mowed areas around the greens, it provides plenty of challenges. North Hill Golf Club Chiang Mai was formerly a 9-hole private course, but in 2014 it was expanded to its current 18 holes and opened for visitor play. Yet the conditions remain on par with a private club.

Conditions are also excellent at the Chiang Mai Highlands Golf and Spa Resort, the area’s best golf course. It features paspalum fairways and TifEagle greens, which translate to greener fairways and faster, not to mention, more consistent greens for the golfer.
