Created by golfing legend Colin Montgomerie, Montgomerie Links Golf Course provides challenging and enjoyable play for all levels of golfers. The course rated as one of Asia’s ten most elite courses by the 2012 Forbes Travel Guide and since then the accolades have kept coming on an annual basis.

The traditional links style design features sandy soil, wind-blown dunes, existing native vegetation, strategically placed bunkers, generous and undulating greens and closely mown chipping areas. The course also hosts more water holes than most links courses, including lakes and streams that add further aesthetic appeal.

A product of Royal Troon in Scotland, a British Open rotation mainstay, Montgomery has implemented classic, old-world design elements into the Da Nang golf course, such as rolling, treeless fairways, thick rough and massive greens. Among the memorable holes are 7 and 13, a pair of par-4s with some of the deepest bunkers on the course.

Although the course doesn’t officially have a signature hole, the stunning par-5 12th is truly memorable. Playing slightly uphill to a bunker-riddled fairway, the hole is framed by the clubhouse in the background and has been described as the best par-5 in Vietnam.

After golf, players can relax in beautifully designed modern club facilities, including all-day dining and lounge featuring international and Vietnamese cuisine, jacuzzi and fitness centre.
